Make a Joyful Noise

“It is good to give thanks to the Lord, and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning, and Your faithfulness every night, On an instrument of ten strings, On the lute, And on the harp, With harmonious sound. For You, Lord, have made me glad through Your work; I will triumph in the works of Your hands.” Psalm 92:1-4

Learning to worship God and leading others to do the same are joyful experiences of the Christian life. More than just music, worship is our expression of love to God. Our Worship Ministry desires to lead the congregation to experience God’s presence in our services and to share His love. Vocal and instrumental music along with drama are a vital part of our services.

While our worship of God will never change, our worship methods may change. As technology has become part of our everyday lives, it has also provided wonderful options for the family of God to worship Him. It takes the musical, creative, and technical abilities of many people to continually provide quality worship services that enable people to experience God!

Vocal Music

Children, students, and adults have opportunities to worship God through music. Age-graded children’s choirs provide quality musical training and help children build a foundation of worshiping God. Our Adult Choir and Ensembles are the core groups who lead in worship. Their faithful commitment and love for Jesus Christ are evident in each service.

Instrumental Music

In Psalm 150, we are admonished to praise God with “trumpet…harp and lyre… tambourine…strings and flute…and cymbals.” We are blessed to have talented and dedicated instrumentalists who make our worship experiences dynamic and uplifting. Our Orchestra provides a tremendous opportunity for young people and adults to use their talents in honor of God. (Auditions are required.)

Drama

Our Drama Ministry provides creative outlets for communicating God’s Truth and leading in worship of Him. Dramatic productions, worship service sketches, dinner theaters, and interpretive movement are just some of the art forms we use to share Christ and lead others into His presence.

Adult Choir: Wednesday, 6:30 - 8:30 pm

Orchestra: Wednesday, 6:30 - 8:30 pm

Elevate Student Worship Team: Sunday, 5:00 - 6:00 pm

Special Events

All aspects of our Worship Ministry—choir, orchestra, and drama—combine each Christmas and Easter to present a powerful message of Jesus Christ to our community.
