STUDENT MINISTRIES

Creator

Our greatest responsibility and privilege is to connect students with God. This also may be our greatest challenge in student ministries.  Some surveys have even predicted that only 4% of this generation will have a relationship with their heavenly Father.  Our dream is to turn the tide.  Because we believe this could be and should be radically different, we’ve designed a weekly program to introduce and reintroduce students to our awesome Lord Jesus. As a part of C3, students explore how to know God through:

// authentic faith

…trusting that God is who he says he is and will do what he says he will do

// spiritual priorities

…hearing God’s voice and obeying what I hear

Community

Students weren’t meant to ‘do life’ alone. In fact, none of us were. We were all created to be known and loved. We believe that God designed the church for that very purpose. As our student group has grown larger, so has the need for us to ‘grow’ smaller. That’s where C-Groups come in. Our Community Groups have been designed to ensure that every student can belong to a small group where they can be known and loved by other students and our staff. Not only do we want to value community, be we also want to teach students to value others through:

// moral boundaries

…seeing God-given boundaries as protection in my life

// healthy relationships

…enjoying life to its fullest by honoring God’s plan for my relationships

Cause

Every student has a dream of doing something great; of giving their lives to a cause greater than themselves. The Hub is a place for students to dream such dreams; a place to discover their destiny; a place to uncover that thing for which they were created. In fact, we believe that God not only has such a cause for every student, but that He, in fact, is that Cause. We also believe that our purpose is best discovered when we jump into serving others. Through our Student Impact Teams, students have the opportunity to serve in areas that are often reserved for adults. Whether they are a part of a Student Impact team or not, all students at the Hub will be challenged with these 'cause' core values:

// others first

...serving others before self

// wise choices

...making every decision based on God's plan for my life
