Furniture

Purpose

West Park has joined with other churches around Knoxville to help provide furniture and appliances to those in the community that are “in need” of these items. This is done through the Compassion Coalition Furniture Warehouse.

Description and Commitment

It is a wonderful way to build relationships as we meet the needs of those around us. We presently meet once a quarter on the first Saturday of the month from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. We meet at the Compassion Warehouse behind Cokesbury Center on Kingston Pike. We will be serving the first Saturday in the following months: February, May, August, and November.

Furniture donations can be made any Saturday at the warehouse from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. There is always a need for box springs, mattresses, dressers, couches, tables and chairs. Contact Miriam Seylar (251-1591, ext. 222 or email).
