Experiencing Life Through the Eyes of a Child

The purpose of our Children’s Ministry is to “glorify God by telling children from the earliest age about Jesus, teaching them the truths of God’s Word, bringing them to the knowledge of salvation through Jesus Christ, and training them to pursue a daily relationship with Him.” Because we realize that the early years of a child’s life are crucial for helping them know Jesus, we are committed to laying a spiritual foundation for each child. We desire to create a loving atmosphere that will help nurture children to reach their full potential for God.

Nursery Infants (Birth - 12 months)
& Toddlers (13 months - 2 years)

Loving volunteers provide quality care for babies at all of our services. Our staff is sensitive to the desires and worries of new parents. In order to help families feel comfortable in leaving their child, we provide visual pagers in the auditorium as well as beepers for easy notification if parental assistance is needed.

Preschool Ages 2 - Pre-K

Our preschoolers learn about God’s love for them as faithful leaders share truths from God’s Word each week. We use object lessons, Bible stories, activities, and personal example to communicate biblical principles.

Junior Kids Church - Ages 3 through 5

Junior Kids Church meets during each morning service for children ages 3 through 5 not in kindergarten. The children enjoy a time of priase and worship, prayer and mission empahsis, as well as crafts and games to apply the lessons learned.

Elementary
Kindergarten through 4th Grade

During the elementary years, children’s hearts are usually sensitive to spiritual matters and they may begin to explore biblical concepts. Frequently, children in this age group make the life-changing decision to become a Christian. It is our goal to provide a loving atmosphere where they can learn how to know Jesus Christ.

Superchurch Kindergarten through 4th grade

Our large group children's worship meets at 8:00, 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. in the gym.

The Bridge 5th and 6th Graders

In our fast paced society, the pre-adolescent years are crucial for this age group. As we teach them the truths of God’s Word and encourage them to have a personal relationship with Christ, we provide a secure environment that allows 5th and 6th graders to develop a close walk with Him.

T.R.A.I.L.
Teaching, Reaching and Inspiring in the name of the Lord

Join us on Sunday mornings at 9:30 and 11:00 for our special needs class. Grades 1-5 are welcome to attend our class which incorporates a reverse inclusion model, trained teachers and volunteers.

AWANA Wednesdays 6:30-8:00 pm

Children age 2 through 6th grade love this exciting Bible-based program! Each Wednesday evening they participate in games, listen to Bible stories, and earn rewards for memorizing Bible verses. Faithful volunteers are waiting to see your child each week! Loving childcare is provided for infants through age one while the older children are in AWANA. Learn more about AWANA.

Children’s Focus - Mother's Day Out Program

Our weekday program for preschoolers is a ministry to moms and kids alike! While Mom is visiting with a friend, running errands, or spending time alone, her child is busy learning and playing with children his/her age. Click here to see more about Children's Focus.

Trunk-O-Treat

Popular with the church family and the community, this October event continues to grow. Cars are decorated and filled with candy so children can experience a safe, fun environment. To be held 10/31/2007 from 7:00pm - 9:00pm. Contact us for more information, decorate a car, donate candy, or volunteer your services.

Upward Sports

Children in 1st through 6th grades love this Christ-centered sport. Each child is given the opportunity to play, regardless of athletic ability. Click for more information and game schedules.
