AWANA

 

AWANA: Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed

Awana is a unique program designed to reach the hearts of boys and girls for Christ from age 2 all the way through 6th grade. A goal of Awana is to teach boys and girls who God is as: Creator, Savior, King, Helper, Friend, and Lord. Awana's foundation is its relentless devotion to seeing boys and girls learn God's infallible word captured in the Bible (ll Tim. 2:15). Awana also offers lots of fun and fellowship for the boys and girls.

Our prayer is that you too as parents will grow through your experiences encountered this year in Awana. In Awana we know that you, the parents, are the key ingredient in training your kids to walk with the Lord.

Who's Who?

  • Puggles: 2 (by September 1)
  • Cubbies: 3 (by September 1) and 4 year-old boys and girls
  • Sparks: K - 2nd grade boys and girls
  • Truth and Training: 3rd - 6th grade boys and girls

Rules and Guidelines

  • A maximum of 5 sections can be completed each week.
  • Children must wear gym shoes to participate in game time.
  • Entrance booklet must be complete to get handbook and uniform.
  • Only two helps per section are allowed during handbook time.
  • Parents (not older siblings) must pick up Cubbies and Sparks.
  • During club times, clubbers must be obedient to leaders.
  • Boys or girls that do not attempt sections for two consecutive weeks cannot participate in game time the following week.
  • Handbook and uniform will be received after payment is made.
  • Awana 5 count and 3 count rules will be used. Ask for details.
  • Clubbers must be in uniform to receive weekly awards.

Costs

Below is a list of the costs associated with a year of Awana. All of these can be paid at the beginning of the year, or whenever each item is needed. If you have a problem meeting these costs, please let us know. Every child is welcome, do not let money be a deterrent.

Dues 25 cents per week or $8 at the beginning of the year
Handbook Puggles ~ $5.00
Cubbies ~ $8.00
Sparks ~ $10.00
Truth & Training ~ $13.00
Uniform Puggles ~ $13.00
Cubbies ~ $23.00
Sparks ~ $25.00
Truth & Training ~ $28.00

Those paying for dues, book and uniform all together at the beginning of the year will simply pay:
